Software has never scared me. I install it, poke at it, and eventually… learn it. Adobe After Effects, however, has always intimidated me.
The software is used to create motion graphics and video special effects. The idea of creating fireballs, gunshots, green screen effects sounds like fun, but I never thought I’d be able to do it.
Until I watched a few Lynda tutorials…
One nice thing about not scheduling vacation over Christmas and New Years is how everyone else does. So this week has been, “Do What You’ve Always Wanted to Do, But Never Had the Time To” week.
My mission… create a video describing our shopping cart abandonment solution for a conference in February. It needs to describe the problem and illustrate how our program addresses it.
One catch… no sound.
After a day and a half, I created this.
